Got an idea? Don't know what to do with it?
I started this site because I had too many ideas, and no time or resources to do anything with them. I figured I should at least write them down, then I decided there was no harm in sharing them with other people. After all, they're not useful to me and maybe someone would read one of my notes and do something useful with it?
And then of course, I realised that I'm not the only person with a great idea he can't do anything with. If you're reading this then you probably already have an enquiring mind and ideas of your own. So I created this site for anyone who wants to use it as a place to add your own projects and invite others to get involved.
Q: But I don't want anyone to steal my idea!
A: There is no point holding on to the one good idea you had in your life. If you are a single-idea person, do you really have what it takes to solve all the problems life will throw at you as you try to implement it? You can't do this alone, so you need to persuade other people to buy in to your vision to commit their time and energy in support of your vision. Can you do that, or are you too worried about protecting it?
Share it, try to attract people who can see the value in it, and help you to turn it into reality.
On the other hand, if you are creative and have lots of ideas, there is no way you can act on all of them. You might as well share everything that's not immediately useful to you, and clear space in your brain for the next thing.
Remember, execution is everything. A great idea, poorly executed, is worthless. If you're not doing anything with it, right now, the chances are it will never be worth anything. But if you share it, you lose nothing and stand to gain from whatever the result is.
