I've been busy downloading plug-ins for my Joomla websites, and one of the widgets I came across was a gizmo to tell you the local sunrise, sunset, phases of the moon, etc.
Very cool, and that information is 'localised' to whatever location you specify at the back-end. But it's not user-specific. If your users have told you in their profiles where they are then surely you can use a bit more processor power and calculate this information for them individually?
Shouldn't be too hard, and with the number of sites using Joomla these days it would be a great way to get your name out there if you were in a related industry.
