I was looking for ways to spicen up my classes, and the big one is always to involve something to do with making money. My students are also big on role-playing too.

Our member Goose Egg has an organisation called Taiwan Business Angels Network, which is a group of investors looking for places to put their money and they use an online tool called Angelsoft to manage 'dealflow'.

This is a free service which enables entrepeneurs seeking cash to put details of their business plans online and investors to find them. It's very sophisticated and is used to manage the whole business of investing in new ventures.

But it doesn't have to be used only for real-life investing. I see no reason why you can't run classroom simulations that would enable students to go through the whole process as if it was for real. It sounds like a nice relatively easy way to give students some practical experience of what they're studying.
