They stole my idea!
Well, I guess they must have been in production for a while before I got around to writing up this idea. It's nice to know that I'm thinking at the same level as Hollywood. (Maybe!)

Pre-coital discussions
I imagine that this is something that a lot of men would keep quiet about. Not all "unplanned" pregnancies are quite so unplanned, and paternity can ruin a man's life.
This is an opportunity for the man to take control.

They're thinking about it
Academia Sinica did a report into this a while back. There is obviously some interest somewhere, so I guess it's just a matter of time. And pressure from concerned residents!

Filling stations....
It can only be a matter of time before something like this starts to happen. I was talking to someone recently who had been in Mainland China and talked about one city where they have already decided to go all-electric. (Can't remember who it was, or where the city was either. I must have Alzheimer's due to all the pollution in Taipei.)
Anyway, the fuel companies (and prices) in Taiwan are controlled by the government so it's probably not impossible for them to start some initiative. I don't know if the filling stations are franchises or centrally owned, but either way it's probably possible to adapt them fairly easily.
But I doubt the robot-arm thing would work. For starters, the filling stations are way over-staffed anyway. Having someone handle the fill-up for you is part of the culture, so maybe a 'robot assisted' service is better?
You pull up at the pump, and the attendant simply pulls the arm down to the battery in the same way they would put the nozzle in the tank. Then they press the button, and the machine whips out the battery and slots in the new one. Then retract it to where it came from, and it performs another switch to exchange the empty battery for a new full one.
You could probably put a meter on the battery to measure the amount of electricity drawn from it, so people only pay for what they use - regardless of the battery capacity.
I would go for multiple small batteries, if it doesn't affect efficiency. That way you can change out one or two even if the others are still full - the equivalent of topping up your tank before a long journey.

TV Show about helping people fix their economy

This is a great idea!
I'm sure there are many people who would watch this, and I expect you could sell them all sorts of services.
But how would you find the people who would be willing to take part? Taiwanese are pretty cagey about admitting that they have made mistakes, so it would not be easy to persuade them to let a camera crew into their homes.
I'm trying to think about what sort of people would co-operate, and all I can think of is "people who want publicity" - which may not be a bad thing.
You may get a public figure or two who wants to try and get some mileage out of the "my struggle against debt/alcoholism" thing. It could be a great way to rehabilitate someone who's popularity has fallen recently. Then there would also be all the wannabe famous people. Some would probably go out and spend on their cards just to qualify for the show if it meant 30 minutes of being a TV star.
And how about companies? "Wow, you really do have a great hotel and a wonderful location, but you're not profitable. Why don't you offer these special deals which we will kindly tell everybody in TV-land about?" - It would be especially good if it was one of those shows where you follow-up every few months. There are plenty of struggling businesses out there who would like to have some publicity, especially if there were "experts" telling the public about how great they are.
Politicians? Campaign finances in a mess? Maybe not, but maybe.
